All of the sudden I get this error on both this and Amber client. I can't login with niether ... Is odd. Do you know what could be the problem?

Not an amber issue, but re-download the updater. There was a big update today.

1.00.92
Added LP/HR to pop out study window.
Toggle chat keybind will now reopen the chat window if it's hidden.
Added irrlight map icon and to icon list, Q should now work with irrlights.
Fixed buttons not using themes.
Fixed an elevation bug with follow cam. Could potentially cause other issues, let me know.
Fixed pclaim vclaim and realm minimap buttons not having mousedown animations anymore.
Added gates to "PickForagable" keybind. Will not work on visitor gates. Let me know if this causes weird interactions.
Fixed Character Sheet not saving window position.

I found a solution with fullscreen issue - you just need type the ":fs 1" command after login and before you select the character!

Updater

Not an amber issue, but re-download the updater. There was a big update today.

Maybe have the updater update itself - and restart in case of a new version?

Belts
Ability to move them without having an empty slot (hands, equipped belt).
Ability to hide the control points to lock them.
Number block belt square display should follow how it is on the keyboard (N9 being top-right and N0 being the single one in bottom row).
F11+F12 are keys too, display for this should group by 4 (per line for block display) as-is on keyboards.

Widget positioning
Currently all widgeds (except the fixed ones like menu grid and clock) are relative to top-left of the viewport corner, how about you make them relative to a corner? Could be a little toggle that one can cycle through (like the button to change layout for belts), icon an arrow pointing at the corner they're anchored at (bonus points for being able to anchor relative to the middle of a viewpoint border, like middle of right side of it).
This would lead to them staying in the corner of the client window the user had anchored them when resizing the viewport, instead of something at the bottom (or right side) of the screen getting hidden when shrinking the viewport.
Please display widgets on-screen always, could be done by overriding their position when this would place them completely outside the viewport.

Key bindings
Please make each and all defined keybinding that is non-printable (having a ctrl and/or alt modifier) take precedence over text input fields.
This would solve issues like 'Toggle Chat' dosn't toggle but activates chat (have to click to get out) and similar issues with search menu not being hideable by repeating the hotkey. Downside would be ctrl-c/v can't be mapped without loss of copy/paste, but that would be a fair trade...

Search menu
Can't relieably bring it up after closing it with ESC.

Quest helper
Would be great if the list could be grouped by questgiver (with one group for general tasks like 'light fire'), so it would be clear on first glance what is on the laundry list of each of them. Option to hide completed objectives would be nice too, to cut down the length of the list, also (with grouping) to hide report backs that are not yet ready. Example:

  • (todo)
    • Go laugh at B
    • Greet C (2)
    • Light a Fire
    • Tell C of your exploits (2)
    • Visit a Cave (2)
  • A
    • Go laugh at B
    • Greet C
    • Light a fire
  • B
    • laugh at
    • Greet C
    • Visit a Cave
  • C
    • greet (2)
    • Tell C of your exploits (2)
    • Visit a Cave

Thanks for working on the client.

Does now, added that to this version to prevent this in the future.

Hotbars can be moved without being empty, hold ctrl and drag. Equipped belt window can also be moved unless you're using the alternative belt window, in which case it has to have an empty slot first. That's amber functionality that's on my list of things to change, same with the hand slots window. I'm going to rearrange the numpad belt today to follow the numpad format if in square shape. Keeping f11-f12 wasn't super easy to do because all 3 belts use the same widget now that has 10 spaces by default.

I'm probably just going to untether everything altogether and allow it to be moved/saved wherever you desire. Seems like the easiest approach. Not super sure how to stop everything from going tits up when you make the viewport smaller, guess I'd have to learn about how that actually works.

Toggle chat working like that was sorta just a remnant of Amber functionality. Now, if chat is hidden it will show it before putting focus in so you can type but it won't actually hide it. I'm not sure how I feel about that suggestion because I'm not actually sure how many players hide the chat at all times until they need to see it. I could account for ctrlc/ctrlv, I guess that's something that should be doable. Will to-do list it.

You touched on why this happens above, if you close the search menu with the focus in the text box the keybind is not firing. Clicking literally anywhere will fix this, fixing the above will fix this too.

Hit numpad 9 (I think this is already in version 93 anyway?), I haven't decided what to bind this window too yet. Open to suggestions.
