We are now faced with a new problem with the mapping tool...

But its related to how the mapping tool works not how the client works.
If you point the TP map tool's Session directory to the map folder in the amber client you can only do a map merge if you are not running a session because the TP map tool deletes or moves the current session (depending on when you have set the option to) resulting in the session ending when you do a merge and only starting again if you teleport to a previously recognized tile ...

I made another folder called current session and pointed TP to get the session there when ever i want to do a update of my map i just copy the current session from the map folder (the folder that the currentssestion script file is pointing to) to the folder i made and do a merge while still in game. semi real time mapping.

Other possible work around is to tell TP map tool to just move the current session back to the same folder where it got it.
Will test that and update.

Update
So the after merge option in TP map tool was the killer as there is only option to move or delete both equally bad as there are then no folder left for the current session to work with ...

For anyone else with this issue

To fix this the two important folders are session directory that should obviously point to Amber\map folder
and the After Merge also point this to Amber\Map folder as well.

Download and extract it somewhere. Open Terminal application and switch to that dir with "cd path_to_the_dir" command. Then run the java command from OP you quoted.

If you are on Windows just double click run.bat file.
If that doesn't work for some reason, then double click run_debug.bat and post the output from the console here.

If we currently know that multiplier formula is SQRT(SQRT((A^2+B^2+C^2)/300)) where A is essence B is substance and C is vitality of item it is possible to add option to show this multiplier on item instead of highest or average quality?
