bdew wrote:You might wand to add a blacklist of tile fingerprints from here: https://github.com/bdew-hnh/combiner/bl ... shes.scala

They were produced by older versions of my client on tiles that consist entirely of one type of terrain (often happens in mountains, lakes, etc.) and can cause weird merging errors.

The current version of the client shouldn't produce them (instead it will simply not output a fingerprint for a tile like that), but they can still appear in old data.

Thanks for the information!
I'll include the blacklist in the next update.

Released Version 1.8
Added option to skip Directories with less than a specified amount of tiles. (Default is 10)
Note : This affects all loading processes where multiple directories are involved.

You can now add Map-Fragments manually to the map. To do this use the Menuitem "Layers".
After an Automerge you can now choose to manually merge the Map-Fragments that weren't auto merged.

More of a question than a request, but since the basics are there would it be possible to merge on the fly now?

What do you mean by 'on the fly'? Sorry, not quite clear to me :)

I mean that as new tiles are streamed from the server in the active session the mapper filters them and automatically merges them into the "big" map.

Thats what the Live Mode does. If you have a map loaded and start Live Mode, new Tiles will be added to your Big Map.
But i'll see if i can add that as a general Feature :)

EDIT : I've split up the Logic a bit, so you can use both features independently. Hope that's fine with you :)
Version 1.9.1

Does SessionWatcher also update the fingerprints file as it encounter new/changed tiles, either by reading data from the fingerprints in the active session or calculating them itself, or are they only used on a user initiated merge from saved sessions? Just wondering how it will handle a mix of tiles that don't have fingerprints, like from previously merged tiles in another tool or from another custom client's sessions (non-bdew).

Ugh, I hope you can follow that, heh.
