Keep up the good work!

Thanx for feedback :)

In current version (1.6.1) it is impossible. But i planned to add this feature in next release. Stay tuned :)

Allow to drag folders onto program to add sessions. Allow to add markers to map.

Mapper updated to version 1.7.

Important changes. Now app optimized to 100px-tiles. In the past versions the app treats all tiles as a 99px-tiles. So, after you launch new version the app will check tile size of your layers (sessions and globals). If app will find tiles on Z2-Z16 zoom levels with 99px then they will be updated to 100px-tiles.

Side effect. The first versions of the Amber's client made 99px-tiles, so if you have such tiles then after updating the Mapper app you may get something like this:

It may bad news, but these changes were necessary for implementing markers.

So, i recommend to make backup of your project folder before you launch version 1.7.

Other changes:
  • Added markers
  • Stitching has been returned. Now you can make one image file from your layers. But finally width*height should be less than 2147483647.
  • Added overwriting tiles on merging

Currently, markers have small amount of types. So you can help me in adding new types. If you have suitable icons - post it! :) and they will be added in next versions.

Hmm, very interesting request :), i think this is possible to be implemented.

looks like something is really wrong. If you open 1.7 mapper with map from 1.6.1 on zoom layers higher than 1 some tiles are absent. After merging session it does not disappear from left list. If you merge it again - there will be blank spots.
Also - add markers for claim, village and mine.

Very strange. I updated my ~8000 tiles withou any losts (except worst 99px tiles from Amber client). Do you have backup? Could you try updating again?

After launching Mapper creates application.log, this log file may help in next investigation.

False alarm. I've manually deleted some files and missed couple of entries from layer.xml, so mapper was shocked it could not find missing files. Though it may be better to just auto delete entries for tiles that are missing.

To add marker click appropriate button on the toolbar or use hotkey Ctrl+P. The app added generic marker with type - none. You may change properties of the marker or remove it by clicking on marker icon.
Currently available 4 type:
None
Soil
Water
Clay
It is possible to add new types, but i don't have suitable icons. So you can help me with it :)

Does anyone...
-Have any icons?
-Know how i can take item textures from the game to use as icons?
or -Know any tools I can use to make icons, and what file it will need to be in to be used as one.

Is there a way i can use already stitched maps in the program? I already marked a huge map of my area with paint but would like to stitch additional tiles onto this as I explore more...

The tiles and compiled maps are both png files but some reason the compiled map will not appear thanks in advance!
