So my tools randomly turn into other tools when equipping, or performing various activities, and sometimes they even change back to their original form. Has happened with a pick-axe turning into a shovel, then eventually a day later turning into a pick-axe again when i was equipping it. ( It is random and I have no idea how this happens. I had un equipped it a few times before it turned back into a pick-axe and it stayed as a shovel)

Now my shovel has turned into a metal hatchet, I have used each of the tools within the same play session as the others so perhaps something is lingering from the other tool and that is what transforms it?

It's not transforming anything. It's auto equipping the appropriate tool for the task you're doing from your tool belt.

It's not transforming anything. It's auto equipping the appropriate tool for the task you're doing from your tool belt.

But i have no other tools on me... so it would have to transform yes?

right-click your belt on the equipement's window

I got it working all you do it install Java so here's a link to Java I took from this page
