Edit in run.bat a new line containing the word "pause" only - that makes the cmd window stay open to tell any error message

right click top of cmd window to see how to mark and copy content from cmd window to paste here (error lines only - not the whole!)

Is there a way to turn off the fps drop when switching to another window? Every time I swap back and forth my client drops to 4fps. While not in the window then takes a few seconds to catch back up once I reopen the window.

Give a man a game engine and he delivers a game. Teach a man how to make a game engine and he never delivers anything.

Hi; my friend wanted to try out haven and hearth and I told him to try out Amber client, but he's having troubles starting it. He can run the original client just fine, and he has given his run.command sufficient permissions with chmod 755, but it still gives him an error. I attached it.

I noticed he is running MacBook. I don't personally use Mac so my knowledge in supporting this is a bit limited but looking at the type of error, it says "Unsupported major.minor version 52.0". I am assuming he is using some sort of OpenJDK distribution in order to get it to work or older version of Java 6/7. I suggest updating Java to fix the issue because the java class is trying to be loaded and the computer hosting the JVM cannot find a specified class of Java. The recommended Java version is 1.8 distribution at least.

This has to do with a setting in windows. As of the release of Service Pack 2, windows made it so background processes go in a stall sort of sleep mode to allow more programs to run and to save on CPU and RAM usage. So when you unfocus the screen and it is not entirely visible, it will do this. You can disable this feature in windows but this isn't recommended.

I am having a problem where I click on a barter stand but no window pops up. My character runs to the stand as if it is working but no window to purchase from shows up. I logged over to the default haven client and the stands work normal there. Anyone have any ideas?
