hello peoples, please refer to East (middle) side of map to see what I have uploaded thus far. Also I note that someone has uploaded some tiles for the SE and the SW sections so thanks for that, would be nice to see all sides growing a bit faster though.

SW could be mine (the most SWern part with huge swamp was the part, where I've met the server restart, so I definitely have such session), so maybe I was wrong

I don't believe they are being updated automatically at the moment which is why you may have not seen your uploads take effect after a long time. It's just when Alg has time to do it.

Alg does it of his own volition. He isn't actively playing at the moment, so the updates will be quite sporadic.

I've gone ahead and added a few new map features that I've always wanted.

First, the historical map.

http://odditown.com/haven/map/history.php#date=20160219#x=0&y=0&zoom=5

This map show you the map as it was from a specific date. That is, beginning of the world up until the selected date.
Format is in YYYYMMDD. Also, since its unreasonable for me to generate zooms for all dates in advance, they will instead
be generated as you view them. Which means that the maps will load slowly, especially on the high zoom levels. (3/4/5/6)
So try to avoid those layers as much as possible. I do cache images once they are generated, so it should be speedy afterwards.

Nextly, historical gifs

Example:
http://odditown.com:8080/haven/tiles/hi ... 87/-9/-8/1

It will generate a gif based on a region from the historical tiles that I have. URL format is pretty simple to understand.
Its just http://odditown.com:8080/haven/tiles/historicalgif/{MinX}/{MaxX}/{MinY}/{MaxY}/{Delay}

MinX, MaxX, MinY, MaxY being the rectangle of the area you want, and delay the time between from in milliseconds.

Due to the nature of generation, I'm limiting it to 600x600, which should be enough for most big cities.

Like the normal map, mismatching may occur in the historical, just let me know and I can purge the issues.

Also, since all this is dynamically generated, if I notice any abuse or slowdown going on, I will probably end up disabling
and adding in a limiter. So try to play nice, my server is not exactly the best.

Hope some of you enjoy!

Logs say you were supplying an invalid size. I'll create better errors in the future.
Just try it again and make sure its Lowest X/ Highest X / Lowest Y / Highest Y / Timedelay

Edit: Improved error messages.
