The update is up. Relaunch the client to get the update prompt or just redownload the client.

Hi. Thanks for your work on this game client!!!
I have the same issue as someone else had, your response to them is that you would install windows and see what you can work out about it.
What happens is when I log in my chat is filled with messages like:
[07:43] mapfile warning: segment-offset mismatch for grid 4dc03c6782e28187 in segment ea5b6f5b2d42505: segment has (-760, -772), gridinfo has (-60, -72)

I've removed the entire map folder, removed Amber.
opened the game in the original client and map was cleared.
reinstalled amber, map was cleared.
turned the game off to continue real life.
returned to the game later that day and all the files were there again.

Any suggestions? I'd rather restart my entire map than play with it all messed up. It's frustrating having to use the map website to navigate. Thanks

Great! I feel like a royal dumb ass!
after posting this I thought to check Java, had two instences of HnH there. Deleted both. errors gone.

the map is in the %appdata% folder, find the haven and hearth one in there and just delete the map folder.

Using an 'Alternative equipment belt window';
alt+right click any item on the belt causes client crash

Thank you for this. I did notice it being said to someone else but I wasn't sure what it meant. I was worried when I put it in my search and found 17k+ files but thought that since I can't break it (being downloadable content) I went ahead. (I didn't find anything called 'map' or 'map folder' only 'data') so I deleted it all.
WOAH! I got the login screen but nothing happened (seemingly) when I clicked my characters name. I freaked out, closed the window and deleted Amber and the entire Haven and Hearth data file. And the Java data for the game.
Came back here, downloaded the original client and played for a couple minutes. Closed that and downloaded Amber. ALL FIXED no map files :) yeah!!!
Turns out I shouldn't have freaked out, just waited for another minute for the game to finish opening. It does take a minute or two the first time.

Thank you for your help

does anyone know why my keyboard input might just, stop being recognized by amber? i've had the arrow keys stop controlling the mouse before, but never complete keyboard shutdown. i restarted and it's still not working. i'm doing stuff that's keyboard-light right now, but i still keep trying to shift and pan the camera. ;)

Game might have the focus outside the world, chat active (or something), press ESC and click the ground, then try again.
If that does not cure it: do you run windows 10 by chance?
