Request for light-colored border around the UI hand slots - they disappear against dark backgrounds, resulting in dropped items when mis-clicking things into them.

hi pete :)

personally i like them borderless (it's more the size of certain equipment that makes me dropping them]

amber-res.jar\res\gfx\hud\invsq-opaque.res is the one ...

You're running an old (_65) 32 Bit Java 8 version ...

Read first - then do:

I recommend to backup (regedit -> right click the key haven on the left pane -> export -> save as haven.reg)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\haven
as it contains your settings for Amber and will be deleted by uninstalling and reinstalling Java
(prefs may contain keys for other Java games - backup each extra too)

Then uninstall all Java via System, afterwards look at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files for folders Java and Oracle - delete them when there,
clean Windows environment variables - HowTo: https://java.com/en/download/help/path.xml

get an actual (_211) 64Bit (x64) Java 8 version
urls here:
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=40331

install it ...

edit the Windows environment variables with the new Java path (i.e. C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_211\bin)
then doubleclick the exported haven.reg key to shove it back into registry

run Amber - have fun
