Checked to see if its a general thing ... Ender client not showing any problems on this end. (Linux-Mint)

(Switched to Amber client, despite liking Ender client better. Main reason: Amber being less fps demanding.)

I'm running in to the exact same problems as Scilly_guy and unfortunately I'm about as capable as a chipmunk when it comes to this <.<
Is this an issue with ender?

I'm really not in to amber or default but I have to be able to start the game....

I'm getting the same error before crashing. It works in my base, but as soon as I go a bit outside the base, it crashes. It also crashes immediately if you go to the create new character area, so I think it might have something to do with pine or spruce trees.

I very much doubt it, it crashes for me outside my den but not inside, nor in a cave. There are no pines, spruce or many trees at all near my den. Unlikely to be that anyway as it will be something to do with tonight's update. It worked fine before that.

It's most likely tonight's update. I haven't had a single problem before that and now I can't even fully load in to the game before it crashes.

I'm getting the same one. I tried deleting the whole thing and downloading it fresh, but same issue. It doesn't happen with other clients, so I can only assume it has to do with the update

yep - in december he added a special crash fix to his client

java/haven/res/lib/tree

added res/lib/tree resource to fix crashes caused by map still being loaded while tree is created


... sadly i don't know an easy workaround for this so you have to wait for him to fix it
(unless another coder gives a hint)

Hi guys you need to open client-res.jar (in TotalCommander it's ctrl + Page Down) and delete there res\lib\tree.res

Ender later will do an update
God is real, unless defined as integer.

Build with quick fix was deployed ~5h ago - forgot to notify here.
Now properly updated client with latest changes from loftar.
