Odditown would like to present to you the Marauders (World) Map! Coming soon™.

As much as I'd love to release what we have now, it'd be best for more of the map to be filled, thus I've created a simple upload tool for those who wish to help.

Usage is pretty simple. Drop the program in the directory above your map folder. (For most client, the directory in which the haven.jar exists).

The Uploader has been improved this time around. There exists a history tab which keeps track of sessions that sent to the server. If a match did occur, you can view the coordinates in this tab.
A refresh button exists, do not needlessly spam this button. It will query the server for all sessions, checking if a previously unmatched session has been matched.

The Options tab also allows you to change the name associated with the sessions (MapUploader by default). This will be primary used for statistics tracking, so if you would be do kind, change it.

Since I hastily put this together, I imagine it will either crash, or just not work for a lot of people. If that happens try running it from the command line and pasting the stack trace. Otherwise,
there probably is not too much I can do.

All uploads should be added to the map upon completion.*

Once a sufficient amount of tiles have been uploaded and added, (aka, enough not to give away positions right away), I will release the map. Hopefully this will not take more than a day or two.
But ultimately, this will depend on how many contribute.

GET - Returns map version information.

Parameters
-user - Source of uploader. (Preferably a name for statistics tracking.)
-session - String that references the session directory
Returns a JSON contained a GUID representing a unique session per source.

POST
http://odditown.com:8080/haven/tiles/add
Parameters
-guid - GUID given from session adding
-x - X coordinate of tile
-y -Y Coordinate of tile
-tile - Tile Image
Returns a JSON representing success / fails

POST
http://odditown.com:8080/haven/sessions/lock
Parameters
-guid - GUID given from session adding
Returns a JSON representing match success/failure along with session offset if it did match.

And where is map? Or you just want free tiles for your private one? :D

Oh man, forum gold. Apxeolog having the gall to question the motives and integrity of other people including alg of all people. Ideally a map would be released which doesn't so obviously disclose our location, so the more tiles people commit the quicker it can go public.

Alg had a public map for all of the worlds after 3 other than world 8. The thread is likely missing along with the other thousands of posts.

World map for world 3-7 was alg's map. I hosted the front end (domain name and html/js) of it but the tiles and uploader were all alg's.
