Just use the ingame map feature. It's decent and has the exact features you'd like to see — only shows the explored tiles and you can add markers.

I am using it but it acts real goofy. Every time I open there are random areas blacked out, not like fog but blacked out like a glitch.
Also you cant zoom in and out like the other one, also I like to have it up on my 2nd monitor so it does not hide my view.

Anyways, if there is an easy way I would love to give it a go, I have saved tiles, just dont know what to do with them.

I seem to be having problems with the map. It is entirely gray for me, it won't load. I tried the "http://hafenmap-jodd.rhcloud.com/" as well, and again it's all gray. I've tried it in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Anyone have any suggestions?

Alg's in the middle of moving servers, so it's probably just down until he finishes setting things up.

The map is drunk and should go home.

Seriously, though... I don't know who updates it or how it works, but something probably went wrong somewhere... It is showing my place in 4 different spots
I've marked in yellow the (obviously) wrong ones and in orange the actual spot (97,9)

As for why it happened with my place... no idea :?

If your the one uploading to it, you may have been the one to do it.

in most clients map saving when you port home, it only updates the part of the map directly around you, the rest (say the lake) remains the same, so if you have visted that body of water and ported home, and then uploaded that map, it will have said "This area has been updated" and thus made the map very very wrong

its just updated via the update client. I mistook that comment as you assuming someone or some program checked it for accuracy faults. :P but yea, its most likely a teleportation caused issue
