Always hoped to see some small map-image which would show a general last-updated view of the world.
- One pixel per mini-map. (image would be ~450x450 in size)
- With a relative large time period between timed points. Like two months. (or perhaps one HnH year, ~54 real days).
- The same relative large time period for the update frequency of that map.

Something like this comes to mind.
Color1: Mini-map tile updated in last two months. (makes sense to than also update this map every two months)
Color2: Two to four months.
Color3: Four to six months.
Color4: Six months to one year. (or continue with the same time scale, up to ...)
ColorX-: Older than one year, or some other point ...
(Color0: Never/background)

Not sure if the needed date-data is available for something like this for the current world (time backtracking).
For a new world that would not necessarily be needed (if one uses just one fixed time-scale jump period).

Not to sure about using/going for Uploaded or Updated(changed) in this case.

Anyway, just doing a bit of day dreaming.

PS: I'm getting a lot of "Excepted grid version 2, got version: 3" lines while running the map uploaded. (~90% or more, compared to segments send lines)

What are the dimensions (in tiles) of the map sections at max zoom?

?
Should be 64 by 64 tiles based on displayed map coordinates.

Yea, loftar did an update to the map files to show ledges. I just haven't gotten around to updating my things to work with it.
Not sure when I will get to doing it either.

Not sure if the right place to ask - is there some working map server solution? With amber broken there seems to be no way to upload the map tiles to APXEOLOG's / andyleap's server, and the uploader in this thread is not compatible with them.

I'm trying to hack Amber's upload logic into this uploader, but it's bit more complicated than I thought, so maybe there is another solution?

It's all set to go, feel free to download the new updater and send files in.
Might be a bit before anything shows up, but that is typical.
