as you can see in the screenshot all the GUI is fine, but the rest of the screen completely turns into random colored various shapes, would like some assistance, thanks

Is this reproducible on the default client?

I've been on the default client for a while and have had no problems. Just when I'm on Amber client.

Is Amber using different Heap size settings compared to the default client? IIRC that was a problem when Hafen was new, allocating too much space for Java caused these kinds of glitches somehow, as OpenGL used its own pool of memory or something like that.
Might be way off though.

I was not aware that anyone correlated the glitches to memory allocation.

That's odd, I haven't touched anything related to rendering for while now. There are a tiny bit more textures being used now though, so perhaps that made some deeper issue to resurface.
I don't have a solution from top of my head at the moment. Try updating Intel's drivers (and switch to 64-bit Java if he is on 32-bit) and perhaps disable shadows and antialising.

Yes it's twice as large in amber.
