LOW FPS on HIGH END PC!

Postby wojsz20 » Sun Mar 29, 2020 12:21 pm

Hello!
Before reinstalling my system:45-50FPS -without tearing on village terrain with animals and crops!
After reinstalling my system:33FPS at peak on village terrain with animals and crops + huge tearing when i walking with my character.

Config:
Win 10 PRO 64bit
I7 6700 at 4,0GHz
RAM 16GB 3600MHz
V-Card :G-force EVGA 1080 +latest video drivers
Latest Java installed!
Tried on Amber/Ember/Purus Pasta Client!
Tried even changing settings on my Nvidia Controll Panel-without results
Putting my UEFI/BIOS settings to deflaut -without results
CPU/GPU DO NOT OVERHEAT /even dont getting more than 25-30% stressed while playing!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS POORLY CODED GARBAGE?

Ongoing rewrite of the client should eventually help.

Meanwhile, you can try pressing : for console and typing "audiobuf 2000" (you can try even higher number but too high may cause it's own problems.) If it helps, then unfortunately you have to type it every time you open a client, as it always loads the default value of 1024.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)

Basic Claim Safety (And what you’re doing wrong) (I recommend you read it in it's entirety, but TL:;DR: Build a Palisade.)

Combat Guide (Overview, PVE, PVP) (Tells you how to try and escape, and make it less likely to die when caught.)

Low FPS in village is typical I think.

Perhaps, but in the same village that he logs out in, I have a solid 60 FPS on my i5 2400 and GTX 750, so it seems to stand to reason that his should be higher.

Thermal throttling? Bad drivers?

I even checked this 2 things. Whole PC components dont get warmer than 40-45*C while playing.I also checked drivers problem, with a lot of combinations.Basicly from 2 days i reinstaled my Windows 4 times.Without GPU drivers ,game didnt run.Windows updates didnt helped at all.Motherboard drivers/chipset updates didnt affect on it.Even my friend tried to help.On his I9 9900 and 32GB Ram he had 30FPS on Purus client. For me the biggest issue is tearing while low FPS/drop FPS.Cutting my sceen frequency from 75 to 60 didnt helped.Freesync ON/OFF cant help also.
