these two things are the most critical aspect in game testing, but there's also a third catch that you didn't mention, which is developer involvement with their testers as a back/forth talk.
How many players have tried to use items in the wrong places, just to check that the item really won't work? [I'm guilty of not doing this, as i'm sure many others are, because "Hey, it's a free MMO game! Time to play." and not "Oh, they need testers. Lets see if i can break something and report it if it does."] Or for that matter, that J/L told us that "This should work like this, not like that, or like that, or..." and how something should work exactly, so that every single player knows that if something happened contrary to what was expected, that it should be reported.
For example, the Q175 battle axes and Q200-Q250+ tools could've easilly been "spotted" if we knew the exact math at every step of the way for what was required to get a final product that's at that quality level; and then further calculate that "Yes, this is a bugged item, because making it has X requirement and that simply isn't possible to achieve given the time the game has been running."
I ran into a Q150 straw hat once, in a basket in the wilderness in a boat. Was that a legal item? I don't know, because i don't know what's needed to make a Q150 straw hat, since i've never made one or seen one made from the raw materials.Developers tell testers how something works in every detail -> Testers check those things work just as planned -> Testers report errors to developers by actual direct testing, or if they stumble across it by simple indirect gameplay.
Pure bullshit post from you again. All the steps for every item are KNOWN if youre not a newb.
@sabinati of course not. Im pretty sure you used piros cooked with q187 branches.
I'd in fact like a mapreset and a char reset, it would show how hard it has become to build civilisation up with all these changes, especially domestication, but chak is overreacting here to the limit. Beside better food, nothing makes a slight difference. Every single baked item you have is bugged by now chak, thanks to the bricks you made with the branches you bought.

Incidentally, like numbers, Flame should be rezzed. Perhaps allthe other people WV has killed using their bugged equipment, and slightly less, bugged stats.
Yes, because without these items we would have made 400 and not 450 dmg with a single hit
I reported the items, all of them. Jorb didnt care about anything else than the water, which got destroyed.

It looks like there wont be any updates for at least a month now, since the combat system is far from done, neither the wyrd system. So if they reset now we can test the stuff they already made and will be able to build something up until they implement new things.
