What do I do with these abominations that are unreachable?

Unfortunately your options are to destroy the kiln and the house and the pallisade segment in order to pick up the logs and move them. Otherwise they stay where they are.

Logs stuck in ridges are there forever as you can't destroy ridges.

that sucks.
here is three ways:
1) logs shouldnt fall on other objects (moving log to the closest empty 2 tiles)
2) char can reach log everywhere
3) (bad idea) log inside other object will dissapear.

Logs should decay after like 2 real life weeks.

bad idea. Sometimes they are not just logs, they are stored logs.

Logs shouldn fall into other buildings or objects. it will be the best.
