Hang Keyrings On Belts (Reminder: Keys Still Suck)

Postby PratzStrike » Sun Aug 01, 2010 1:57 pm

I saw the thread about tool belts, but I'm not so sure how applicable this is to that. Basically, would it be possible to use belts as tiny containers for keyrings? Currently belts really don't have any use, and this might be a good start.

The amount of times this has been suggested is rapidly nearing 100.

This just in, keys are still a poor game mechanic and any veteran player ends up storing useful ones on a safe-alt instead of using them as intended

Any Veteran player who's worth his weight in steel has their territory internally sectioned off with walls, carrying those internal gate keys for easy access while still having their outer gate keys on an alt.

And it doesn't look like it'll change soon... :/

Never using the outer gate keys either, or taking the inner gate keys (why would you need to) outside of the village.

Yes you might be thinking 'no big deal' if I lose them, but it is, it's a waste of inventory space, and on the off chance someone ever gets into your outer wall, you still have your internal walls safe and can get everything to a safe location.

What are people's current thoughts regarding what actually would be good?
