Theft and PvP Belief bound

One way of reducing thieving and slaying Alts could be to bind these skills to a belief slider (e.g. babaric/civilised) unlocking them step by step.
The first step towards babaric could unlock trespassing, the second one unlocks vandalism and so on. Same thing with PvP.

Have to fix the belief slider exploit first then.

I suggested tying Theft to max Barbarism and Murder to max Death in the other thread, but had forgotten you could rig these.

I would suggest a Lawful/Chaotic belief slider, instead. Who says you cannot have a lawful barbarian?

That sounds uncomfortably similar to D&D alignments....

That is because D&D took some of the most standard words in the English language. Would you prefer Innocent/Criminal? Or perhaps Lawful/Lawless? Maybe even Licit/Deranged?

Barbaric/Civil is really close to Chaotic/Lawful. It's just changing the words around. Adding even more alignments when many of them are insignificant doesn't seem like a good idea. They're not all like Nature/Industry or Tradition/Change.

well whatever, I've said my piece

Don't think it's a good idea to add more alignments when many of the current ones are insignificant. Not like Nature/Industry or Tradition/Peace.

Untrue, barbaric and civil have completely different meanings than chaotic, criminal, lawless, deranged, lawful, innocent and licit.

And barbarism/civilization already does a lot. It changes your stats around.
