Apply the cast iron % change to other crafted items

One problem i see in this game, is that once you can produce something of high quality, you can mass produce it, and create as many as you want, flooding the market and making it really hard for people to trade items of slightly lower quality. so basically, you have a monopoly on that item.

this new cast iron update has made it alot harder to create HQ metal items, and it requires the village working together to do it. I think if you applied the same % change to other crafted items in the game you would have alot more "village" projects, in trying to work together to make the best stuff.

if you were to make more crafted items work on this model, instead of harvesting my crop of 36 wheat and getting 8 HQ farming hats. i would probably only get 1 hq farming hat or none at all. this would make that 1 hat, worth much more. and it would also snowball if you had items created from other crafter items (like stuff that uses linen). This change should be applied to most of the items you see mass produced, like linen, silk, slings, clothing, hats. if not everything then just 2nd stage materials like silk shhets and hard leather.

i think it would make this game much much more fun, and give vetran players more things to do if this was applied to more items.

Basically your idea sounds bad to me.
Veteran players got a grip on mechanics and on production, so update like this will only increase prices on market on hq items and make it nearly impossible for new vilages to make hq items once they reach needed ql for said items.

.... sorry but have you seen someone even selling hq metal?

no

there is a reason, its rare. we are sitting on an anvil and hammer we made which we dont need, and its probably gonne sit there gathering dust, cuse there is basically nothing anyone can trade me that will account for the amount of time it took our village to make it. people keep hq stuff if its rare.

right now, hq stuff is NOT rare. This suggestion makes hq stuff rare.

i dont see why anyone would like a system where if i could make 300q hats, and other people could only make 250q, that they would never be able to trade whatsoever against me as i can make as many copies of those hats as i want. however if you made hq products rare. guess what? unless i focus soley on making that item, someone else can fill the void in the market. the demade for HQ items will stay the same, however this update with make the supply 10% of what it was. if i trade farming hats, but only have 1 crop of wheat, its gonna take me 6 varvests to get 5 hq farming hats. so what this does, is leave the door open for someone who wants to specialize in that item, and increase his crop size in order to increase his chance of producing hq ones.

what is hq to you? q 100+? yeah, i seen it, bought it etc etc.
nothing anyone can trade me

if it is so- it's a pity you are not develpoing futhermore. bulbs, cheese, anything you need to develop your charecter, but have no time to gather/produce. Browse apples for oranges section to see how many WELL developed villages are offering highQ stuff for lowQ.

You don't see hq (spiral'd) metal sold, but it's not THAT hard to make man...

I'm neutral on this idea, whether it happens or doesn't I honestly don't care, veterans will adapt, just makes it harder for the newbies.

how does it make it harder for newbies? they'll be able to exceed the natural quality of their materials too.

They're newbs, they aren't as efficient, they don't have as much materials, others know what it takes to make more and can do it, easily.
