One problem i see in this game, is that once you can produce something of high quality, you can mass produce it, and create as many as you want, flooding the market and making it really hard for people to trade items of slightly lower quality. so basically, you have a monopoly on that item.
this new cast iron update has made it alot harder to create HQ metal items, and it requires the village working together to do it. I think if you applied the same % change to other crafted items in the game you would have alot more "village" projects, in trying to work together to make the best stuff.
if you were to make more crafted items work on this model, instead of harvesting my crop of 36 wheat and getting 8 HQ farming hats. i would probably only get 1 hq farming hat or none at all. this would make that 1 hat, worth much more. and it would also snowball if you had items created from other crafter items (like stuff that uses linen). This change should be applied to most of the items you see mass produced, like linen, silk, slings, clothing, hats. if not everything then just 2nd stage materials like silk shhets and hard leather.
i think it would make this game much much more fun, and give vetran players more things to do if this was applied to more items.
