just a suggestion for game balance, if you like the old one more of have a better idea about the formula, just shoot.
right now it kinda to easy to get high ql bones form animals, with this new formula it changes to pretty hard to get ql200bones.
current formula = (animalbone base ql + (surv/2))= bone quality
max ql with softcap => ql200
new formula
sq(animalbone base ql*(surv/2)) = bone ql
and without softcap
reason:
with ql 100 bones from animal
10surv = ql22bones
200 surv =100ql bones
500surv = 158ql bones
1000surv = 223ql bones
with ql 200 bones from animal
10 surv = 32ql bones
200surv = 141 ql bones
1000surv = 316ql bones
conclusion, the bones ql is more dependant on the ql of the animal than survival
with the old formula you would get a ql 105bone from a bear with 10 suvival => BIG difference.
breeding of animals will be more important once they reach high levels (however this doesnt matter any since farming is nerfed)
this will also postpone the end game for a bit longer since ql 200 bones wont be as easy to get than before, unles the bone ql of bears get changed to 200.
