"And they shall be as wolves among men."
A temporary/permanent debuff* which only effect is preventing people from producing a murder scent when slaying the outlaw. You don't get murder scents when hunting animals, I fail to see why criminals who prey on men should be different.

No visual cues. Just a inexplicable lack of scent when the hammer falls.

Though we do get lovely feuds between clans with the current system as friends of the outlaws slay his executioners, who retaliate in turn, who retaliate in turn, so there is a flipside.

Edit: Another downside is people baiting with low level alts so they can retaliate with their murder-mains with impunity... But if you're so quick with the sword and bow, you probably don't give a damn already.

Further edit: Apparently this gives the vigilantees, "too much" protection and deprives friends of murderers and savages their god given right for revenge. And gee, we can't have that.
*What is the statute of limitations for hearthlingslaughter in the hearthlands?

Why not? My reasons are motivated by laziness, basicly.

So instead of the current method of wrecking the hearthfire, then drag the intended target out in the deepest woods, summon and knock him off out there where nobody will ever find it before the scents expire I can just summon him in a public area as a spectacle. Everyone loves a good execution.*

*except maybe those pro-life hearthlings, but those tend to not live long.

Because it takes effort to implement things, I can't see any improvements this would bring, and you're not showing us any either?

as i understood, its to help the trackers of murderers to in turn be not detected, since they were just delivering justice...

but what if the previously killed person often stole from others? didnt he deserve retaliation? and why should a justice seeker be any more immune to the power of being found than a bandit?
Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.
