Just chickens? Cluck that!

So we all love our chickens... the easily obtainable food and curios, the sounds they make when you wring their necks, the bloody mess you get when squish their young underfoot. But why stop there? There are plenty of other examples of domesticated birds that could make for fine additions to HnH. Off the top of my head:

1) Carrier pigeons, with 1-4 inventory slots, that when released will return to the claim where they were trained. This would expand our trade options while still being limited in flexibility and carrying capacity.

2) A falconry skill, allowing players to train and use falcons for hunting and combat. Perhaps they could be treated as marksman weapons and activated using the shoot skill, without relying on a finite supply of ammunition. There are a number of ways to offset this advantage: high creation/maintenance costs, a fatigue metre for the falcon, the possibility of it being killed in combat, etc.

Hm... already suggested but does not lock thread.

Anyway, as said, it's been suggested multiple times but I think a lot of people like the idea of being able to send messages (or in your case small amounts of items) back and forth. I think I've seen the falconry skill mentioned as well. I certainly wouldn't mind it.

All I could see a falcon being useful for is hunting rabbits.

maybe a fox...depends on how big they are, and what kind of bird you're using for falconry(and no falcons aren't the only birds used for falconry any kind of raptor works)

There's that YouTube of one taking out a small deer.

Also, chickens. And maybe you could smith it a little bird helmet with a spike on it so it could a Battle Bird.

Oh yea and maybe you could give it a mini-dragon helmet and a SS and have it beat all your enemies by becoming an insane flash of thunder striking across the battlefield slashing your opponents to fucking bits.
