My thoughts on new LP system.

My opinion's kinda late but honestly guys, do you find this as fun as world 4 and previous? I used to actually be doing things, like making a farm, farming carrots and stuff for perception so I could find a mine, killing ants for LP, stuff like that. With this new system I don't even really need to do, well, anything at all. I'll hop on the game for 2 seconds to put new Curious in. Or make some if I'm out, and that's IT. That's the ONLY way to get LP. I mean it just seems so boring, it turned Haven into a waiting game, I really dislike it. I've played for a day or so and only managed to rack up like 1.5k LP. I actually miss the farming for LP, atleast it was more involved than this. I haven't played in a while and I was really looking forward to coming back to the game I used to love and have a lot of fun with. Now there's just nothing to do anymore.

if you want high QL things

you still have to do things.

i like it better, i can do useful things, instead of digging for LP

Please, we're not having this exact same argument for the umpteenth million time. That is all I ask. The Devs will not revert the system so unless you have progressive thoughts and contributions, then lets end this thread.

I lold pretty good.
What I was trying to say is that, as I built my little village, I was able to keep going with the LP I was getting from the whole construction. Now it seems like I'm gonna have to wait a few hours... Put a point into something, wait a few more hours, put another point in, etc.

This makes perfect sense, it does free up a lot of time for building villages and getting food etc. But to me making a village now just seems so unrewarding. I'm having so much trouble getting anywhere now, it takes hours to get a few hundred LP, I'm sure it gets faster, but it'll be hard to get to that point.

I know they'll never go back the way the game used to be, I'm not trying to argue with the Devs or anything, I just wanted to get my opinion out there because honestly, I really miss this game, I thought it was really good, I highly enjoyed it. Now it feels like I'll be just as well off playing 15 minutes compared to 5 hours.

use the downtime while you wait for curios to pop to build stuff or craft stuff or go forage/fish/hunt/etc. study soldier ants, ant queens, ant empresses, cone cows, dandelions, stalagooms, and other fast stuff while you are active. put on the slow stuff right before you log off. max your intelligence as much as possible so you can study more. hth

Yes, actually. Most people shoot for yeomanry on their first day. Stronger players aim to be hunting within a few hours. It sounds like you've done very little to grow your character or to learn the new system; rather, you seem lost in the old way and are confident that it is a problem inherent with the game and not with your understanding of it.
