Candelabrum

Postby Pacho » Tue Oct 06, 2009 3:09 am

Right now they use up a little bit too much metal, I would understand one bar, but two seems excessive. I so wanted to put candelabra in my camp when I could get metal, but now that I can, I find myself wondering if its better to use this metal to trade instead because it certainly doesn't seem worth it at the moment D=

Long, long ago we were promised non-metal candle holders.

Well, considering that nobody ever builds candelabra, I think the metal cost is still high.

Yeah, tbh, if it were one, I'd build a dozen. At two...I'm not going to build any.

Why can't you make a damn wooden one? It makes no sense. Not all candlebras are made out of metal. In churches they have wooden holders.

If they made it so you can make wooden candelbras, making candles would become a lot more convenient to make, and i'd light up my settlement and mine :D

Two ideas to expand on the Candelabrum theme:
1 Ability to craft clay candle holders that can be set down or carried (into a cave).
2 Clay oil lamps. Oil can come from animal fat - tallow, or be pressed from flax seed etc.
When the all cutting blade meets the uncuttable stone - at times, the blade is sharpened

That's cool. As long as we don't have to start extracting lye from ash to make soap. but dynamite would be cool.

I'd name my next town Paper Street Soap Co. if they did that!

Check this out:

If you are seeing this for the first time, here is the suggested response:
1. Notice the date of the thread.
2. Notice all the pictured stuff that is not in game (Things that were not in game when this picture was posted: walls, oak trees, village idols).
3. Consider what this means about boats/whatever you are really excited about being implemented.
4. Cry.

Why does Jorb tease us so? :x
(because it's fun?)
