Bone Axe/Bone Bow

The Bone Bow would use either 1-3 Bones to make, along with the string. QL would be affected by Bone QL, String QL, Marksmanship, and Survival. Damage would be less than Ranger, but more than standard bow. Would be nice to use them bones for something else ;].

Bone Axe, Use bone on a twig to make a bone axe, does a bit more damage than the Stone Axe. QL Is affected by Twig QL, Bone QL, and Survival.

I think these would be interesting to see, what is everyone elses opinions?

"Something used to be here."

I think it's a good idea, and probably none too hard to implement, either. I'm all for more uses for bones.
I was about to question how well a bone axe would work, but then again we have a bone saw, so I can't imagine it would be terribly hard.

---> Wait, wait. But the bow... a branch is needed for flexing. Bones don't flex. I don't think it would make any sense.

True bones don't flex, however since they don't flex, drop their range considerably vs. standard bow/ranger bow. Like half of the normal bow as the flex would cause the arrow more distance.

reduce the damage down from the stone axe a bit, because stone hits harder then bone, but up it's speed, if the bone axe is to work, imo.

That is decent to understand. Agreed.

2.5 Damage + 1/2 str but at a *1.5 speed of Stone Axe.

while i agree that it would be nice to have more uses for bone, i don't think an axe or a bow is the right use.

Decorative purposes, passive tools, and musical instruments are better uses for bone.

Hemp.

No one's heard about Italian Saracens and their Arcu de Osso(Bone Bows)?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.
