Lantern, sconces, torch holders

Postby Caradon » Wed Nov 04, 2009 12:55 am

With the nights getting darker and darker and those of us without ready access to metals, it is difficult to see what's around. Which is why we ought to have some alternative to candlebras. Preferably wooden alternatives.

Nothing big just torch holders, something that can burn for half a night in game.

I agree. It would be nice to have some kind of stamina-based night vision too.

Questioning what the obelisk and the blue portal are still.

Am I the only one who has noticed the trees are covering the day-night thing AND the window itself?

I think it was noticed on the original thread, and given as reason to be skeptical of the whole thing. Some of the objects shown were implemented later, though.

From that picture we've implemented the tree, the palisade and the village idol. I had no particular idea behind either the obelisk or the sigil, other than that they might be magical (which is a vague as it gets). It's obviously a mockup, which wasn't something I was trying to hide. :)

You know, the obelisk could have been used as a charterstone, would probably make things look nicer.

Well you could have also fancied up the Obelisk. :D

Or it could even be used as another authority object, probably one that covers even more area than a statue, seeing how it looks like its made form just metal.
