Explosives to make mining more fun and efficient

It would be awesome to implement a "gunpowder industry" so you can end up crafting dynamite sticks. Then you take those bad boys to your mine to blow up shit !. Mining one tile at a time is fine at the beginning but cumbersome at the end.

What do you people think about this idea ?

It would have been interesting to find more then just ores and Qnodes in the mines. Coal, sulfur veins and interesting gems would add some flavor to mining honestly. Explosives might come off a bit out of place, but then it wouldn't hurt to have something new and different around.

Agree !. Once you found all the metals you need mining turns out to be lame and tedious. Adding gems to make new curios or new ingredients to make new craftable new shit would be awsome !.

no, but gunpowder just fr mining would be silly since id just take it n blow up bw's and if that didnt work then its to weird. if it did work however its too OP. so just no thx rly :P

Actually we can generally place the game shortly after colonization of the new world and mining with gunpowder not to the mid 1600's. Beside lets not even go down that road and start the well we can mine with it now lets have firearms. I like the time setting as it is if not earlier.
