Put this on steam.

All I have is a small little window. I need some full screen mode and such. Please make this for steam. Ill buy for 10 bucks, thanks.

I launched it and I don't even know how to move my character. I have to quit the game...damn.

This idea comes up pretty commonly.

That's just to list a few. The discussion has come up before more in-depth in other threads as well.

The jist of it is that the devs aren't opposed but that involves more work for no real benefit other than releasing an unfinished game to lots of people, which no one wants. For now their efforts are focused on developing the game towards completion.

As for your other problems, there are plenty of fixes for this. If you need a larger screen size you can use any number of custom clients that will allow you to maximize the window. Right off the bat Ender's comes to mind. You move your character by clicking the mouse. Right clicking interacts with objects.

I must admit I don't understand what any of this has with Steam to do.

With the current state of W7, and the amount of content, I'd probably only pay $4.99 for this version.

As for the game being unfinished, steam has a lot of those :P

But seriously, after you get HnH 2.0 out, you could probably release it on steam as an "Early Access" title, for about $9.99 (or whatever the currency difference is, I'm an American, I'm stupid ). Just don't keep it in development Hell for too long, and your good to go.

Probably placing "this" on steam would force you to make a damn "single installation and enjoy the game" without a fuckton of reading and downloading stuff.

Ive said it before: go to greenshit in steam and then gain the acces to sell your game there. Also avoid microtransactions and you'll have acces to heaven because your game rocks.

Yeah sure - every game at Steam is truly a "single installation and enjoy the game" ... and ppl do just play "without a fuckton of reading and downloading stuff" with their "Steam games", not reading and writing fucktons as there are no forums or Wikis for that games ... not to forget all the Mod stuff that nobody is using ...

Guess i'm living in a different Steam world than you ... the first thing that happens when i click a games launcher is Steam client grabbing it's update :P

Also you're prolly totally living fine in CCC or GeforceExperience world, just use the (ooops fuckton downloaded) given game profiles and never read into anything telling you how to get the best out of your graphic card settings for a game ... and you prolly never experienced buying i.e. Baldurs Gate in a Box (how much do i miss that fuckton of reading  )

;)

Those are surely no Arguments for Steam IMHO - especially when it comes to other platforms than Windows atm

And for those that desperatly need instant food there are these things called "Game Consoles" ...

If I had my choice this digital download would go away. I pay for a game i want a game, manual, and neat artwork. I buy a game i should own a copy of it, not a right to download one. You know why? Servers go down. Patch files disappear. Companies deem old material must go for new. It does not matter i own the right to a copy at some point they will erase it. Add in what Borka said and its a much richer experience and truly allows you to play when and where you want. :)

Go get a life borka.

Xcuse me sir but i have more than 95 games on steam, most of them are indie games. I download them, and soemtiems they upgrade, but i dont have to read forums and download ALL THE FUCKING JAVA LIBRARIES AND SHET to play with them. Also i have more than 200 original games, from 1991 to now. U HAVE NOTHING TO TELL ME ABOUT OWNERSHIP or having games, if u are a damn good coder gl bro, but not all of us must.
Also there is no need of beeing so fucking agresive for pointing something than logical as "make a game easy to install and play".

Also STEAM is the damn best platform followed by GOG IMO.

In honesty I am a little weary of having everything on steam. Personally I have not encountered any problem of late but I much prefer fully owning the copy of the game I am playing rather than having it linked into a client account which causes some complications. It is notably when I read a comment from Star Ruler 2 developers that they are not able to give out refunds for the steam version of the game since it has to be by steam, not through the developers themselves.
