Movement

Postby Valakthhan » Mon Feb 01, 2010 4:08 am

My girlfriend found this game for us to try,

so we gave it a shot and been playing days straight; Pretty good game.

Only thing I could think of that could be improved upon is movement,
Which there are two things that need to be addressed. One is the fact that when you move in the world the camera does not stay centered, instead your character walks to the end of your game screen if you wish to see further you end up having to click the middle mouse button, so you can see more of the environment. This can be a bit tedious after a bit of game play;
which ties into the movement of your character, which is click to move. Which means you end up in a repetition like this: Left click to move, click middle mouse button, left click to move, etc, etc. With how much my girlfriend makes me play I fear for the life of my mouse. :p

The other thing, perhaps you could implement the ability to walk with your keyboard?

I'd hate to lose the WASD keys for shortcuts but using the arrow keys+mouse leads to a very cramped feeling.

Make sure you don't type this in the text area.

Click on the ground ro soemthign and type this key :

That opens up the console and you type cam fixed in the console.
