Foods and Hunger and Reset

Postby Jackard » Sun Feb 14, 2010 12:18 am

With the incoming complete reset, can we get those updates for food and hunger?

So that hunger is slower, food is more filling, a rebalanced FEP distribution among all foods that takes newer stats and required resources into account*, and maybe even (god forbid) something that makes multi-FEP foods desirable?

*im looking at you, pancakes. and why do derivative foods like eggs give totally different FEP?

multi-FEP is good if you combine it with something, food is more filling if you are not travel weary and etc., so no need for those. What I'd like is more types of foods later on though.

Excuse me, what?

Come and tell me when it's time to

I'm sorry but you seem to have mistaken a number of things.

that you can use something does not make it desirable. foods should have rewards appropriate to what they require and that obviously just isnt the case for many. im not sure why you would attempt to even halfheartedly defend the current setup

Why?
Food is already abundant and players only care about decadent FEP-anorexic diets. Flame me, but imo food should be harder to get, and also add a water requirement on top of that, while we're at it. If it's too easy, it becomes a redunant grind. But the solution shouldn't be to make it even easier...

Agree about the rest, tho - dieting and stats gain could use a change.

edit:
talking about grind: limit the number of food that can be harvested from trees. A single tree provides an unlimited supply of food as long as you're willing to actually grind it off the tree.
