lumber jack axe

2 handed lumber jack axe used for cutting stumps and lumber into blocks at a much faster rate then a normal stone axe.

Made of 1 block of wood and 1 wrought iron bar.

I'd even go so far of saying that useing an axe while cutting trees you can get 1 more lumber log out of tree, nice life of a lumber jack ;D

I get the idea of larger axes being able to chop faster but why would having a larger axe net you an extra log? Amount of logs is determined by tree type not how large your axe is. IN my opinion they should just make the B12 chop faster.

A Battleaxe isn't necessarily made for chopping trees, but for chopping flesh and bones. I know it's being a bit overly technical, but it's just not 'made' for this.

A lumberjack axe would be nice I suppose, although I don't see the issue with the stone axe for now

My issue is stump removal. 60 seconds for one stump plus a considerable stamina drain is pretty harsh when you're deforesting.

Also, I would honestly imagine that the use of stone axes was discontinued once people got a hold of metal.

I'd agree with it somewhat for this case seeing as it should be the polite thing to do removing axes, and it should be encouraged, but I also like the fact that this makes tree huggers rage against people who don't think about what they're doing. (Kinda like real life, -chuckles-)

Why can't we pull out stumps with pickaxe? It's actually better at it than axe IRL.

@ OP: It has been suggested a number of times, and we all agree, but no luck yet.

You'd just end up with a removed stump, not blocks of wood though. :S

Would be nice either way however.
