Dual Wielding

The ability to dual wield swords would be awesome! At the cost of losing the protection of the shield, you do 2x damage using sword related attacks and maybe also unlocking a new skill, "Cross Slash" that would deal 2x even more damage.

This would make actually wielding two swords at a time useful and not just for show.

Except that plenty of people don't us shields. So there's no drawback.

Maybe you wouldn't be able to use any maneuvers while dual-wielding.

"Cross Slash" reminds me of a skill from Chrono Trigger... but yeah. I dunno. If they could find a balance for it I think it would be neat. However one of my in-game buddies i've seen wore two swords at once before so you can pretend although it doesn't do 2x more damage..

Point, I think we should just get a two-handed greatsword. Best of both.

I have nothing against duel-wielding as it would force you to use UA for defence and that should be enough of a penalty. I would however wish to see UA and ranged receiving buffs 1st before this happens (thanes vs nothing & nothing currently)
