make claim stakes non-colliding

at the very least, your own claim stake should be non-colliding, but it would be nice if all claim stakes were non-colliding.

So it would be really easy to corner of a large area by just creating four thin area border claims?

It might help if you specify why or when you would like it to behave that way.
And why the (assumed, dev) reason the claim are colliding is flawed or not really needed in your view.

He's talking about the stake, not the claim.

Reason might be that when you place a stake it can get in the way when moving.
That's why most stakes you see are directly to houses.

In my opinion stakes should be destructible by battering rams, while village idols should follow the same rules as claim stakes when trying to place them.

Also personal claims should require upkeep similar to village authority, in case claim authority runs out the claim should shrink one tile in every direction every now and then untill the claim is gone.

epic fail:
1. claims can't be within 5 tiles of each other so you couldn't do that
2. i was talking about the claim stake not the claim itself
3. non-colliding means you can walk through it

the reason i want this is because claim stakes are annoying and get in the way

Got it, the pole.
---
General:
Can't you declaim your claim (regaining the LP that are invested in it, if I'm correct)?,
destroy the pole if its still there(?),
and than reclaim from a other spot.

That still doesn't solve the problem. Sabinati is talking about the stake generally being in the way when you work and walk on your claim.

well it sort of solves the problem, i could of course move the claim stake to a part of the claim that was more convenient for it to be, but really i don't see a point in them being a collision object.
