Trash Bin

Postby erozaxx » Wed Jul 21, 2010 4:06 pm

Hi I would like to see ingame trashbin (craftable). It would be container where items dropped are instantly dizintegrated (dissapeared from the game) Firs it would ease the pain of taking some stuff out of the inventory and dropping it on the ground, what is really PITA when full inv of dirt e.g. and secondly it might ease the server from objects, because there are tonnes of objects laying on the ground waiting for its disappear time just because no one wants them and they could be destroyed/trashed right away.

You think the idea is good and is it problem to implement it?

Thanks buddies.

Otherwise the game is just great. If anything ot support you could be done, I will.

for fuck sake hold ctrl and click the stuff, it drops them, hold shift and click them to transfer to and from a container. its no hassle at all.

i do agree with the part about destroying the item right away instead of decay doing it over time, not sure if its worth making a item for though.

I did not know about the CTRL click. I knew about SHIFT click. So for the fucks sake thanks for an advise. But that was not prior reason. As I said, there is tonnes of stuff laying around.

EIDT: And I thanked you for an advise. btw it is not place here to quarell here. If you are pissed off, stay pissed of, I will no thave worse day because of that. Everyone is new one day and I have read the wiki back and forth several times, but just missed this one feature (and I have missed several other thinks as well for sure) - blacklist me for that if you want.

hence the 2nd part of my post.

and the first half is because I'm sick of people going "omg its a pain and pita(te hell btw?) to do this" and not take the time to figure out if there is a easier way to do it that doesn't make it a "pita", how would you even know there is something like that? the fact nobody else has had the same complaint before is a good motivation to at least check if you are not just doing something wrong.

if you want to get rid of something you can drop it in the water. splash! it's gone.

But it is not about me, I know i can drop sutff into water, but firstly I do not live next to the water and secondly I do not care if it stays laying on the ground. The feature might lessen number of objects ingame and also is a nice piece of furniture to have in your house. I am not asking for and advice how to get rid of the soil. I came with an idea of piece of furniture which can also have some useful function - end of story.

Another useful ipnut. Lemme think of it a while.
Btw any chance you would follow your own suggestion?

Bump. It'd be pretty convenient to have a trash bin that you can put stuff in and it just disappears instead of waiting for it to disappear.
