I would move it to hel for the OP, but I sorta agree with the title. I have been waiting over a year to see a dryad do something other than make newbies post frantic messages about "SOME CRAZY GREEN-HAIRED MONSTER."

So yeah, I agree, Dryads should do something, already. Just not what the OP said. Let's use this to brainstorm some possibilities for them, maybe?

As long as dryads are daughters of Mother-Nature, they must hate civilization, thus:
they must destroy every player-crafted object built by player;
they must destroy building signs;
they must speed up growing of crops and trees(Nature`s blessing - fuckin` hippies.);
if they will see any woodcutter(a person who cut any tree last 10 mins of real-time), they will paralize his movement by roots for 3 RL minutes. No travel to HS or village idol, of course.
Finally, they must be used by players. Give full-Industry characters ability to kill them and gain some decent ql wood, and give full-Nature ones ability to give them cones, catkins, apple cores and mulberrys and gain them back, but with slightly increased quality.

How about instead of full, the quality is increased by how much towards nature.

That post was a lot better than the OP tho. Some of those have a seed of an idea in them.

I think that only killing the clear-cutters will be the best enhancement. +1 for it.

Ok do not need to kill them totally, just knock them uncoscious and rip all belongigs they have off and destroy.

Yeah, clearcutters for LP are a nuisance, but what about when you're building a cabin or timber house? I come fairly close to "clearcutting" an area when I do it all in one shot, but i do wind up replanting the trees and carting the lumber and stumps off for good use... I'd hate to have some supermassive treemonster wreck me just because i wanted to expand my digs... How would you differentiate between a clearcutter and a diligent carpenter?
