Diagonal walls

That would probably require a different, bigger kind of wall, obviously that would never work with the current brick walls, you would need something along the lines of actual walls that are perhaps as thick as buildings (maybe 3 thick or 4 thick) to walk on top of... at least as far as I see it.

Maybe we can just put ladders and walk on top of those and have a 5% chance of falling and breaking our necks

What would a broken neck do for you? Would that insta-kill you?
Or would you have a chance to aid yourself and heal over time?
