My idea was for crates as you'd see in the picture posted on page 1. Those kinds of crates would work nicely, they're supposed to be longterm storage for the bottom items, as stated, for things you want to keep a lot of but don't need to access often, when you do need to access it just empty top one first (assuming the same thing, and then get to bottom one)
A good example for this might be to use it for food if you do it en masse.
There were 2 ideas in this thread:
1)Mass storage units, stackable, drawback is harder to get into, plus is more space per tile - This was what I was going with
2)A way to throw a bunch of stackables on one tile, they aren't necessarily big, but you fit a lot more 'per tile'. - This is what the drawer idea is going with.
I'd like to see both, perhaps the mass storage stackables being 8x8 and stack 2~3 of them, drawback being you can't move them unless empty, and can't get into the bottom ones since they'd open from the top.
I also wouldn't mind if they instead just showed 3 cupboard interfaces side-by-side to have them all accessable in one tile, you'd just have to make 3x as many. Whatever, either way, depends on whether the more space is actually that over-the-top.
For the second one I'd like to see something looking like cheese racks that you just stack like 8 crates into, or just let crates stack on top of each other, either way.
