That's actually Frog Mario in Super Mario Bros 3 on Nintendo, he has crappy land speed (unless you carry an ice block or something) but unparallel water speed.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

well yes obviously, who would be unfamiliar with that picture? even if youve never played the game you can tell who the character is

Frogs make terrible hats, they move around too much. I've been trying to devise ways of freezing them into hat-shapes, but I haven't had any luck so far. I ended up making all kinds of different shapes while trying for a hat though, and everyone who saw me called me a "still life artist"
