I guess that depends on how we build them...
I guess it should be possible to wall off a cabin with only a 6*7 area using round post fences, which isn't too bad at all, especially if you have neighboring cabins share fences rather than doubling up...
Also I should probably point out that it's not so much that we are in desperate need for space, so much as a desire to have the living space close together so people encounter each other more often.

Quick question, is the claim implemented such that the client just tells the server that it wants to build a pole in a certain space and then the server works out the claim area?
Or does the client say "I want a pole here to claim this area"?
If it's the latter then implementing smaller claims (or re-enabling the land management interface) would be a pretty simple matter and could be done by someone working on the UI without you troubling yourself (hint hint, nag nag
