If you were poor I'd doubt you'd have a cylinder hat.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

You lug a candleabra around. Granted, that's a bitch in larger mines. But if you mine with a cart (as was done in the old Bottleneck mine), you're usually moving at a crawl anyway.

Interesting... Does this allow you to get to 101% industry? Does it come with the same negatives to nature as the belief slider?

It does not, and I just tested the monocle on an alt, it also adds 1 point of industry.

The sliders are capped at +5/-5. Yes, the hat gives negative to nature. It moves your slider one step towards industry, quite simply. (And removes it when you take it off, of course)

oh...

Well that makes both items absolutely useless to me unless I want to have a really poor chance at making bloom rather than zero chance... I guess a lot of such items could be useful in the future though, especially if they stack.

I will tell one person, and only one how to make both the monocle and furcoat.
Top bidder gets it (I'll accept things like top cheese recipes)
