But i do get your point that it doesn't matter to you if the land is a bit barren, but that's something personal, some ain't bothered about it and some are.

Another point to make is that there already are dozens of ways for sensible, normal players to rack up tons of LP. Clearcutting for no other reason but LP is simply lazy and ignorant (and counterproductive after a certain point), and increasing the LP from tree planting would just add one more to the large number of ways that already exist to make LP that get ignored by those people.

Trees don't regrow on their own, there was problems with placement of saplings so it got taken down till further notice. So clearcutting converts forest into grassland, which reduces hunting opportunities in the neighbourhood.

Agree that's another problem, i thinkt then the regrow starts working properly so will it most likely give a more positive effect than raising the lp for tree planting.
But i do think that there would be more positive effects from raising it then negative effects:)
