I would type up a witty retort but my hands are shaking too much.

Well, mussels are only one example of a forageable item (although we'd probably benefit most with this feature when harvesting those). Having this implemented would be an increase in effectiveness since it takes less time to just click with a hotkey than using radial menus.

I don't see how that would be a big enough increase to make it worthwile to implement. While you're harvesting a mussel you have to wait anyway, more than enough time to spot the next mussel and already open the menu via rightclick. All other foragables are way too scarce, you'd have to leave your harvest mode to walk between picking them anyway.

Well that's where our opinions differ, isn't it?

If I thought it wasn't worth the time implementing it, I wouldn't have suggested it in the 1st place.
On the other hand, I can't see how it could HURT having this implemented, so I wonder why you took the time to say you don't want it? Isn't posting like that actually NOT worth the time spent to do so? :P

Of course it's only my opinion, hence the "I don't see how". And I thought you created this thread to get opinions, no? :P

Anyway, I don't know how time consuming it would be to make the harvest command also function with foragables. Of course it wouldn't hurt having it, but I think the time would be better spent on other things.

I honestly have to go with DigDog on this...

I've never seen a worthwhile forageable less than 1 screen away from the previous one.

I don't know how difficult it would be either, so I don't presume to say it's a waste of time, that's what I meant :)

If it's simple, like making the forageables count as crops for the purpose of harvesting, I think there's enough of us here that would welcome the change ;)

WOW!!! That would be awesome!!! :o

i hate having to click 10 times on the same bunch of mussels to harvest all of them, and chats and blueberries are not that far behind.

Pleeeeeeease, Jorb & Loftar, can we have this??????? :)

I know, why not just automatically pick them up while you walk over them? Even less clicking involved then.
