I agree with both statements. I really hope Loftar and Jorb find a way to stop the seethru hacks because it is, in my eyes, a form of cheating. Now that a few people cheat, everyone needs to start to cheat to survive, it's not fun and I like it better when hiding behind a rock or tree was actually hiding.

well, you can track stolen items to a hearthfire, maybe you should be able to open the inventory through the hearthfire if you have a scent that points to any item in that character's inv? i don't particularly like the idea of anyone being able to steal stuff from your inventory by raiding your hearthfire if you haven't been involved in any criminal activity.

Sigh, I used to love hiding behind stuff.
I once was in a random forest in the middle of nowhere and spotted Blaze walking around. I hid behind a tree and jumped out yelling BO! Major fail there .

I'm for summoning items you have scents for. If it didn't leave any scents less thieves would be killed because sometimes rangers might be reluctant to leave murder scents.

As far as day/night is concerned, I think the latest version of DF did it right. If you're alone in the woods at night, the bogeymen will get you.

1)Every time I see this picture I cry. So much fun would come with that stuff, but it`s hidden from us.
2)What`s for stealing from logged out characters, it sounds great. In fact, it would add more fun, as you would lose your stuff at any time, which together with permadeath, actually adds to game "survivalistic" taste.
3)What`s for X-rays, those are thing which also makes the game actually playable. Heck, when you can`t throw a stone to a bear because of that tree, it sucks. Nightvision should be removed, hovewer(once more light sources are aviable).
