I'd like it just for being to test stuff in a free, risk free environment, especially if we had like "god mode" in it.

It'd be nice to be able to test different farm layouts, do work on calculating tree formulas, try and understand hives, and solve other mysteries without wasting any ingame resources.

Pretty much the entire game is server side, if loftar made an offline mode he'd give up most of the little things that make Hnh, Hnh.

well...this idea has some good structure to it, but the walls are falling apart, if you get the metaphor.

i think it wouldet be a bad idea to have a small area for testing different layouts, tactica, and other things...but an entire offline world would be unappealing and a waste of time for the devs.
i really need to find a good signature

worked for Diablo II. byte code instead of source. however the games mission statement is all about economy and trading and empires and what not. missions are important right?
