The 'rising to power' was just a rumor I heard while passing somebody's conversation. I didn't believe that Old Goonheim was actually going to come back. I also heard that it wasn't even goons that were reviving it.

And about Old Goonheim. from what I've read, (which isn't much) The Goons abandoned Old Goonheim because The Wanderer and a few people from Laketown laid a beatdown in a raid and killed JTG, then you decided to evacuate to Dun Goonheim and start anew. but also I heard that JTG stole something from laketown, and you didn't approve of his actions and left, or something.
