Agreed, Monu, your wisdom of 17 posts really enlightens us to listen to things you say as if you were an overly experienced player.

The only thing I don't like about this, is now to warp to Nople or some other trading hubs, I have to do so unarmored. Also this sort of made me aware of the grinding nature of this game, which I have been able to avoid in my 6 months of playing by just letting my characters grow naturally and not trying to grind specific skills or stats. Now, just to get up to my previous par, I'll have to go about to grind up a stat, every part of my actions would have to be designed for one single purpose. What a drag, that with keeping up authority by myself takes the fun the hearthlands once had for me.

Was leather armor buffed by any chance? Or is the cuthroat cuirass exempt from the agility-killing armor penalty? Considering the strength of bronze plate, it's easier to get a q40s bronze armor, and it's much more effective than probably the highest quality leather that exists, and cuthroat is more of a hassle to make (can't make hardeneded leather more than 1 at a time). Perhaps this can force more diversity in industry, but that's just a silver lining type of thing.

The cutthroat cuirass still has an AGI buff, so it's great after this update.

Of course i can take a few hits with Armour, I meant that I could receive a hit and not have it go though my defense. Sorry for the confusion.

I was not really discussing armour, I can't comment of it too much because I am far to biased. But i do find It unfair that I loose 9 of my 11 agility wearing leather armour.

It is my fault that I didn't make tons of honey buns when I had the chance. but it is just so frustrating to have something you work for taken away from you because you did not have the foresight to see something like this coming.

This topic is about how the game developers should try to avoid changing the game in was that make it ever more difficult for noobs.

my largest stat is str at 34, mostly because str is way to easy to get up. not that i am complaining, but strength, constitution and perception are the only stats easy to lvl up when you are wandering the world.

I did say that it made it impossible for me to fight anything stronger that a fox with 74 melee. didn't I

I agree, but if it scales the 'base' needs to be a bit lower. Atm I get a pretty big debuff from all my armor, if it was multipled by the quality I'd have under half.

I'd rather have it scale with base agi than with armour q.
