The only real "problem" is, imagine "RELEASE THA HOUNDS!" invading a village, they open up a gate and the 20 villagers dogs come after your ass and tear you apart
IE: pvp purposes probably not...

Love the tracking / slowing down idea!
As a side note can we tame boars to become pigs and hunt down truffles?
We love us some mushrooms :geek: and why are other mushrooms not found thru foraging, seems like an obvious idea to me. Sorry If I took it off subject :D

it seems you never saw dog killed by boar in real life hunting do you ? I saw few hunting dogs which had broken bones after such event

to not do offtop:

very good idea with adding wolves to game - they could be found in packs, of 4 - 5 and sometimes individually, just like real wolves.

Tame is way to go !
