I've been thinking about grinding lately, and I was comparing it to weight lifting. As long as it's not some kind of set-it-and-forget-it kind of externally run macro, then "grinding" is still a human player devoting time and energy to character development. If they want to sacrifice the immersion/role-playing satisfaction for the increased LP gain rate (or even just pure laziness), that's their lookout and a fair trade-off. Just as if someone goes to the gym and lifts a lot and gets crazy strong, don't fault them because they didn't burn those calories building a warehouse or paving a street. A man's time and labor are his only inherent commodities, to be spent and exerted when and how he wishes. I fully agree that grinding is ugly and even destructive in some cases, but i don't think there is any valid ground in a game like this for forcing people into not doing it.

This would be brilliant. If someone were at full death, then being around skellingtons would obviously make them happy, right?
