Idea: Have the ability to mark completed maps (both local and regional) so long as you have ink and a feather in your inventory. It could leave Vandalism (or Theft, if Jorbtar is feeling benevolent) scents if you do it on someone else's claim, because obviously the second they implement this people are going to have troubles with penises appearing all over their maps, but done to one of your own maps it could be very helpful in marking villages, caves, high-quality nodes, treasure stashes, etc.

There would be a certain way to determine how much ink has been used, and reduce the necessary amount (to bring more variation to the amounts of ink in a jar, rather than everything taking the same amount), and every time a certain amount of ink is used, it adds another Vandalism scent if done on another person's claim.

I, for one, don't get how this isn't already part of the game.
